School Administrator – ASR
Due to internal progression, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a School Administrator.
This individual will work primarily in the attendance support room (ASR) alongside 2 other colleagues, each with their own areas of specialism and as part of the wider Administration team.
This position is critical in helping the school to continue to provide a welcoming environment for our students and to support our first aid and health care provision.
The day-to-day role of the job will consist of attendance administration, management of duty manager calls, assist with delivery of first aid and medical matters, oversee the delivery of the second-hand uniform provision and support the Admin and Planning Manager where necessary.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent administrator with an ability to support student welfare who has a positive interest in further developing the important relationships between students, staff, and parents.
The post holder must be first aid trained (this can be provided by the school, if the successful candidate doesn’t currently hold a first aid certificate) and should be willing to be trained to administer EpiPens, if not already trained.
The post is for 31.666 hours per week, 5 days a week, 38 weeks per year term time plus 5 staff learning days- 39 weeks per year.
Typical core hours are based on 8.30am to 3.30pm, (with a 40-minute unpaid lunchbreak) Monday to Friday.
Salary will be paid at Band E; £23,115 to £23,893 per annum paid pro-rata to the hours and weeks worked. Actual salary is calculated at £17,138 to £17,715; starting point depending on experience, any continuous service and qualifications.
