THE POST - School Executive Officer
The School of Health and Life Sciences at UWS is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly organised School Executive Officer to become a key member of the School's Service Delivery Team based at Lanarkshire campus.
Responsible for the management of a comprehensive support service for the School, the post holder will provide leadership to administrative colleagues within the post holder's portfolio, providing hands-on support as required, as well as produce and present reports for consideration within the School at Leadership level.
In this busy role you will provide a comprehensive, administrative service demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. With strong organisational and time management skills, and an ability to prioritise and maintain confidentiality and discretion, the post holder will be skilled in leading and implementing change, ensuring the engagement of the team in the process.
The successful candidate should have the following:
Experience in an administrative/office management role.Experience of planning and co-ordinating the work of a team as well as experience in training and developing staff at all levels.Experience of implementing processes and procedures and identifying areas for improvement.Experience of building effective working relationships with internal and external Stakeholders.Experience of working with a diverse range of people.Effective time management with resilience adaptability to meet fast moving business needs The School of Health & Life Sciences at UWS offers innovative teaching and research opportunities, firmly focused on the real-world challenges facing the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
