SalaryWe are looking for a Facilities Assistant to work within a supportive school located in Hackney.
The role
We are seeking a Facilities Technician,who is totally aligned to the values of Hard Work, Integrity and Kindness, and completely committed to the school's mission: to ensure that every student will succeed at a good university or equivalent, thrive in their chosen field and live a great life.
This post is full time, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours, per week on a shift basis. Flexibility to work paid overtime outside these hours will be required from time to time.
The ideal candidate
As a School Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our School Facilities. From maintaining cleanliness to assisting with event setups, your responsibilities will contribute directly to the overall well-being of our students and staff.
- Experience of facilities management in a modern building (Desirable)
- Skills and experience in all aspects of building maintenance: joinery, general building work, DIY, electrics, plumbing and plant maintenance (Advanced skills are desirable but not essential for this role.)
- Good customer service skills and a can-do attitude
- High standards of workmanship and a solution focused approach
