School Receptionist

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of School Receptionist at a welcoming, Ofsted Good school in Bexley. Some receptionist experience is ideal, with full training will be provided.

Position: School ReceptionistLocation: Bexley, London

Salary: £12.50 - 13.50 per hourStarting: Immediately

Requirements:

• Previous experience in reception or customer service roles is advantageous but not required as full training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor as you will be working in a people-facing environment.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, with accuracy of work.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive, in particular where unexpected issues arise.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The school provides excellent CPD so you will continually be able to learn and develop.
• Able to maintain confidentiality, having tact and diplomacy where necessary.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (this can be arranged through Tradewind).

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
• Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing.
• Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area.
• Collaborating with staff to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
