We are seeking a Regional Assistant to support our efforts in student recruitment by raising the profile of our institution and the city regionally and nationally. This role involves developing and delivering innovative and engaging activities in target schools/colleges and at key recruitment events.
Day to Day of the Role:- Represent the institution professionally at recruitment events, school and college HE fairs, and other relevant events.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of progression opportunities, course portfolio, application processes, and student funding to provide information, advice, and guidance.
- Collaborate with various teams to coordinate and deliver recruitment activities through multiple channels, including digital platforms.
- Support Open Day events and other key marketing/recruitment events.
- Assist in developing strategies to meet recruitment targets.
- Provide administrative support, including research projects and CRM data updates.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Schools and Colleges marketing plan.
- Supervise and guide student employees as needed.
- Log and evaluate all activities through the CRM system, record feedback, and analyze results for continuous improvement.
- Comply with the institution’s Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies.
- Honours degree or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering complex information in a creative and engaging way.
- Customer service experience.
- Recent personal experience of higher education study.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills, including social media and video conferencing platforms.
- Good written and report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current issues affecting progression to HE and HE student funding.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- Flexibility for evening and weekend work, and willingness to travel locally and regionally.
