A brilliant Secondary School based in the Borough of Enfield are seeking a Science Teaching Assistantto join their dedicated team of teachers, Teaching Assistants and support staff. The Science Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with the Science Department and providing support to students through KS3, KS4 and KS5.

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you have the opportunity to gain Salaried Teacher Training and will gain valuable school-based experience that will be a great asset to your teaching career. This position will also involve working with young people with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

• £95 - £110 a day
• Monday - Friday only

The Ideal Science Teaching Assistant

• A graduate with strong academics centred around the sciences (1st class or 2:1)
• The desire to become a science teacher
• A passion for learning and making a positive difference to young people
• Previous experience in a school/working with children
• A good understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
