Greenwood Academy is a vibrant, successful 11-18 Academy situated in the heart of Castle Vale. We currently have 950 pupils on roll and are growing every year. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Technician.You will be involved in supporting teachers in the delivery of science studies to students, therefore detailed knowledge of Health and Safety legislation is essential, as you will be handling hazardous equipment and tools.
The successful candidate will also have:
- The ability to relate well to children and adults
- The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
- Good organising, planning and prioritising skills
- Good interpersonal skills
The role is due to commence as soon as possible. This is a Maturity Cover position until August 2025.
