ERS are proud to be partnered with a leading pharmaceuticals and biotechnology firm, and as part of their success they are recruiting for an experienced bioprocess scientist to work with their Edinburgh team on a permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for executing molecular biology techniques such as electroporation, PCR, vector design, cloning methods (Gibson Assembly, Golden Gate, traditional endonuclease/ligase reactions), gel electrophoresis etc., according to deadlines and client needs.
Requirements:
Skills in the above mentioned techniques
PhD or MSc in relevant field
Enzyme assay/strain biotransformation development experience
