**Position:** Secondary High School Teacher/Private Tutor

**About Us:**
Vara Sports & Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary High School Teacher/Private Tutor to join our team. This role involves children who are currently in full-time care and not engaged in formal education. Our aim is to provide them with a supportive and enriching learning environment where they can thrive academically and personally.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide engaging and effective English and Maths lessons to the students every morning, twice a week. - Plan and implement sports activities in the afternoons to promote physical fitness and wellbeing. (PE will be fully supported by one of our team)
- Tailor lessons to meet the individual learning needs and abilities of each student.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere that fosters confidence and academic growth.
- Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback.
**Requirements:**
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Secondary School students, preferably in a one-on-one or small group setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students.
- Passionate about supporting students' academic and personal development.

Salary: £110.00-£135.00 per day
