Are you an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge?
U-Educate are currently looking for Secondary Teaching Assistants for schools-based in Sutton Coldfield, B74 area. We are currently looking for candidates for both day-to-day and short/long term roles based on your availability
Job Description
- Supervision of students on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Provide additional learning support as identified
- Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
- Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
- Support the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
- Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student’s progress and development
Requirements
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
- Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
