We have an exciting opportunity for mature, motivated and committed individuals to join our brand new team in our new London hospital. Responsible for staff, patient and premises security within the hospital, you’ll enjoy the chance to make a real difference with Nuffield Health .

You will work with the other members of the Security Team, Porters, Reception and Operations Director and along the way, you'll build strong relationships with hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients. Working collaboratively alongside the rest of the hospital team, you’ll ensure patients & staff benefit from the best possible services, equipment and care.

This role is for 15.00pm till 21.00pm Mon to Fri and as Bank these hours are not a guarantee. Basically it is covering leave entitlement and sickness of the full timers.

You will ideally have previous experience working in a similar role & setting with high volumes of activity and preferably in private patient or corporate environments, as well as for the recruitment and induction of individuals in this sort of role. SIA Licensed in Security Guarding, CCTV use and /or CSCS certification would be an asset.

In May 2022, we opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital. Situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital, Nuffield Health at St Barts is our flagship centre for cardiac services and we also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology surgery.

The hospital consists of:

• 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms

• 28 consultation rooms

• Three digital operating theatres

• Cardiac catheterisation lab

• Specialist intensive care beds

• 8 bay Oncology day unit

• Endoscopy and minor ops theatre

• Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
