Security Officer required for a luxury brand based in Acton. The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security and well-being of employees, visitors, and the premises. This position involves maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere by assisting guests, managing access control, conducting security checks, dealing with couriers and responding promptly to any security concerns or emergencies.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, vigilant, assertive and a helpful team player with a passion for security and delivering great service at all times.
Duties:
- Welcome and assist all visitors upon their arrival and exit of the site, ensuring they are properly checked in/out using our e-Reception portal.
- Issue visitor passes and oversee the process of logging and ensuring the return of all passes.
- Uphold site rules and policies to ensure compliance and safety for all visitors and staff.
- Monitor and patrol the site, ensuring security protocols are followed, and respond to incidents as needed.
- Responsible for managing all courier activities on site, ensuring timely handover of all dispatches to dedicated couriers throughout the day.
- Receive all deliveries, notify appropriate staff members, and ensure packages are properly stored/unpacked in their designated locations.
- Monitor staff arrival, break, and departure times, and provide regular reports to management as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks and collaborate with management to implement preventive measures.
- Supervise maintenance and building contractors whilst on site.
- Collaborate with our estate security personnel to build a strong relationship with them.
- Responsible for ensuring all areas are safe and secure, whilst providing a consistently high level of customer service.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Monitor CCTV cameras proactively to detect any security related incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, activities, and observations.
- Collaborate with management to implement security policies and procedures.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents and prepare reports as necessary.
- Conduct searches on-site when required.
- Perform Fire Warden and First Aid duties as needed.
What you will need:
- 2 years security experience within a concierge or high end retail environment
- SIA Certificate
- First Aid trained
- Fire Marshall trained
- CCTV training would be beneficial
- Customer focused
- Warehousing experience beneficial

Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 ph
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 - During busy periods, you will be expected to work weekends, but will get two days off in the week.
