As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.
You will maintain a safe and secure environment for ISS and Oxfam customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

The Role
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV); inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Unlocking building at the start of shift, checking that the building is safe for entry and securing the building at the end of shift making sure the building and assets are in good condition.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintains organisation`s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Meeting and greeting Oxfam staff whilst carrying out reception duties.
- Making sure the Oxfam procedures are adhered to when allowing visitors access to the building.
- Using ISS computer systems to log parcels delivered from various couriers.
- Sorting of incoming mail.
- Arranging couriers on a daily basis via a web portal to collect packages and letters for Oxfam staff.
About You
- Must have an SIA licence
- At least 1 year experience in security is essential
- Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
- Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
- A team player with good customer service skills
