As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
SEMH Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Implementing tailored interventions to support the specific needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Collaborating closely with the teaching team to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assisting in the development and execution of individualized strategies to address SEMH needs.
- Providing one-on-one support and small group assistance during classroom activities.
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students with SEMH challenges.
- Proven experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Ability to adapt and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH challenges.
