We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1-1 SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant to join our team located in Whitehaven, Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
As a 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and assistance to a student with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they have equal access to education and opportunities for growth within the school environment. You will work closely with the classroom teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other staff members to implement tailored strategies that meet the specific requirements of the student.
Additional Requirements:
· Candidates must have a minimum of 12 weeks of experience (or 6 weeks for candidates in an education-related course) in an educational setting within the last 2 years for reference purposes.
· Candidates must have a level 2 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
