The client is a special school for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH), and other complex needs. The school caters for just over 200 primary aged pupils, allowing for in-depth relationships to be built with them. Although sometimes challenging, the rewards that come from supporting pupils with SEN will offer great job satisfaction and sense of achievement as you will well know as an experienced TA.
Your role would be to support teaching specialists, being at the forefront of making life changing difference for the pupils with an aim to supporting them to return to a specialist or mainstream education. Providing them with the necessary life skills to do so is a key part of the position.
