Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? Timeplan Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bushey, Hertfordshire at a specialist school.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them reach their full potential
- Implementing behavior management strategies effectively
- Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff members to create a supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with challenging behaviour and scenarios
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience working with SEN and SEMH
- Classroom experience is preferred
- Confidence in supporting pupils with diverse needs
- Right to work
- Two professional referecnes
- Currently living in the UK
