SalarySEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and SENCO, provide one-on-one support, and create inclusive learning environments that promote student growth and development.
Location- Hemel Hempstead
Salary- £80-£95 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering individualised learning activities for students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
- Monitor and record students' progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
- Support students with personal care needs, if required, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external professionals to support students' holistic development.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs, Education, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students' diverse needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
