Send Admin Assistant

This company is looking for a Business Services Assistant Grade 6 to join their SEND team. As part of the statutory process, pupils and young people who have an EHC Plan and are moving to the next phase of their education require an amended EHC Plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the SEND Locality teams in issuing Amended and Final EHC Plans and consulting parents on their preferred school for their child's transfer in September 2022. The role requires experience with special needs, the code of practice, and using different IT packages in addition to administrative experience identified in the job description and person specification.

• Support the SEND Locality teams in issuing Amended and Final EHC Plans
• Consult parents on their preferred school for their child's transfer in September 2022
• Use the database Synergy to issue draft Amended and Final Amended EHC Plans and workflows to generate letters
• Store all pupil records in the electronic filing system called EDRM

• Experience with special needs and the code of practice
• Experience using different IT packages
• Administrative experience identified in the job description and person specification

£12.87ph for the first 3 months with the possibility of enhancement
