Opportunity:
My client is looking to expand their team and seeking a versatile and experienced Senior 3rd Line Support Engineer to join them in their Westcliff-on-Sea office. This role offers a chance to contribute to their dynamic environment and grow alongside them.
Essential Skills:
·Proven experience in a senior or 3rd Line Support role
·Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft platforms and technologies
·Proficiency in Hyper-V, VMware, Ubiquiti UniFi, and major networking equipment
·Familiarity with backup platforms such as Veeam and Datto
·Expertise in configuring IPv4 and IPv6 networks, LAN/WAN
·Azure cloud experience and knowledge of Mac OS
·Comfortable with CRM systems and Linux
·Professional certifications are a plus (Microsoft etc)
·Previous MSP experience preferred
Responsibilities:
·Execute IT projects both on-site and remotely (software and hardware)
·Provide 3rd Line Support within agreed SLAs
·Maintain and update support documentation for infrastructure components
·Take ownership of issues and ensure resolution
·Deliver exceptional customer care and set standards for the team
·Manage accurate asset records and liaise with suppliers
·Monitor and maintain system availability, performance, and security
·Assist junior colleagues with IT support tasks and escalations
·Conduct customer training via various channels
·Prioritise tasks to meet SLAs effectively
