Job description

Senior Account Manager with excellent stakeholder management, customer service and client account management skills is required to manage a portfolio of key clients at a well-established company.

SALARY: £40,000 per annum

LOCATION: Remote / Home Based with requirements to travel across the UK when required

TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

KEY REQUIREMENT: You must have a Full Driving Licence

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Account Manager with excellent stakeholder management, customer service and client account management skills.

Working as a Senior Account Manager you will provide effective and pro-active contractual, commercial and relationship management to a specified portfolio of key clients across the company’s existing customer base.

As the Senior Account Manager you will provide overall support and service your allocated customer portfolio and up-sell and cross sale where possible.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Senior Account Manager include:

  • Pro-active management of a specific portfolio of key customers through the development and maintenance of strong relationships with key decision makers and senior stakeholders
  • Understanding individual customer needs and implementing solution based initiatives to support customer requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to expand the company’s services (Wellbeing, EAP, Absentia, Mental Health Services, A&D, COVID etc) with each customer
  • Ensure delivery of agreed SLA’s / KPI’s, via the customer service teams, maintaining a consistent high level of customer service delivery
  • Escalation point for any complaints / issues
  • Ensure regular meeting and contact strategy is in place with all key customers
  • Pro-actively engage all customers
  • Ensure that clinical services are delivered in line with each clients requirements
  • Work with the business to ensure customer deadlines are met
  • Provide feedback to and from customers to ensure the services offered meet customer and company goals
  • Manage the contractual relationship and renewal of each client contract
  • Deliver agreed financials in line with individual client forecast / plan
  • Work with the Financial team to ensure all invoices are paid in line with contractually agreed payment terms
  • Ensure that client pricing is updated in line with contracted T&C’s
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all key internal stakeholders and senior managers - clinical, commercial & customer services
  • Work with the Sales team and Implementation Manager to ensure smooth and structured implementation of new clients
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure customer requirements are met

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree level, or equivalent experience in senior management role, including people and customer management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - must be able to communicate efficiently (verbally, in print and via the phone) to all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship management skills - must be able to build and maintain relationships with senior managers, directors and key customer stakeholders
  • Influencing - must have the ability to influence key decision makers internally and externally
  • Time & Diary Management - must be able to manage own time and diary, whilst working remotely across the UK, attending client meetings, company sites and working from home, where appropriate
  • Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines in line with client and business requirements
  • Must have full and clean driving licence
