Job Title:Senior Management Accountant

Key Deliverables
- Produce management accounts for multiple overseas subsidiaries.
- Provide insight into performance issues.
- Strong balance sheet control and support of policies and procedures.
- Support the rollout of a new global ERP system.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the performance and development of Assistant Management Accountant.
- Liaise regularly with overseas finance staff to ensure accounts are closed in line with the month end timetable and ensure that any P&L performance issues are fully understood.
- Work with subsidiary management and finance staff to identify and improve performance issues.
- Manage subsidiary working capital in areas such as aged debt and cash flow forecasting.
- Involvement in performance review meetings with subsidiary and HQ management.
- Effectively reconcile and resolve any balance sheet issues to ensure accuracy and timeliness of P&L performance.
- Ensure newly acquired subsidiaries are successfully integrated into A-Safe’s policies, procedures and systems.
- Support any subsidiary tax issues.
- Deal with complex and ad hoc reconciliation issues, such as separate accounting systems in Mexico.
- Implement the group’s policies and procedures in all subsidiaries.
- Assist with month end consolidation routines.
- Partner with other departments, such as Marketing or Product Development to provide useful insight into their performance and enhance their support for the business.
- Assist with year-end audit and month end close.
- Assist with group annual budget process.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Lateral thinker and problem solver.
- Enthusiastic team player – able to build constructive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Willingness to try new things, innovative & pioneering approach.
- Use to working with management accounts.
- Strong IT skills and desire to work with modern IT systems.
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
Desirable:
- Relevant industry background / experience.
- Worked with SAP or NetSuite ERP systems.
- Experience working with international subsidiaries.
- Experience of consolidating group accounts.
