Senior Account Manager - Lifestyle & Culture - Social Media & PR 

Our client is a dynamic and independent creative consumer lifestyle agency located in central London. They specialise in collaborating with diverse clients, ranging from emerging startups to global brands. Renowned for crafting impactful campaigns that contribute to meaningful cultural conversations, they are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their team.

The Ideal Candidate:

Our client is in search of an individual with a tenacious mindset, staying attuned to the latest trends in culture and Gen Z interests. The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of what resonates and sparks conversations, not only in the UK but globally. Strong digital competence, especially in social media strategy and community management, is crucial for success in this role.

Salary Range:

£35,000 - £46,000 (Experience-dependent) + BONUS 

Role Overview:

As the (Senior) Account Manager, you will be instrumental in managing culture-driven accounts for our client.

• The role involves managing global PR efforts for various clients, including a renowned vodka brand, a premium whisky, and a well-known Scotch brand. The responsibilities often include facilitating exposure in global media channels that appeal to Gen Z, utilizing strategies such as gifting and hosting events.
• Acting as the global and UK agency for a leading beverage company: Responsibilities encompass overseeing the global and UK initiatives for well-known beverage brands such as a popular lemon-lime soda, a renowned tea brand, and an energy drink. The role involves managing the implementation of these brands' platforms across the UK and other international markets.
• UK summer activation work and social media support for a renowned spice company: Responsibilities include overseeing summer activation initiatives for a popular hot sauce brand in the UK and providing social media support, including strategy and community management, for various brands under the spice company's umbrella.

Your responsibilities will include:

Client and Team Management:

• Serving as the primary client contact and effectively managing internal team members, including Account Executives and Senior Account Executives.

Media & Influencers:

• Overseeing media sell-ins, leading client updates and evaluation reports, and managing influencer outreach and relationships.

Talent:

• Coordinating with talent and management teams, overseeing talent procurement, briefings, and interviews.

Photo-shoot / Content Production:

• Managing photo-shoot production, suppliers, and logistical aspects on the day.

Digital:

• Taking the lead on social media strategy and community management, collaborating with junior team members.

Budgets/Finance:

• Efficiently managing project cost and fee budgets.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Creativity in planning, brainstorming, and writing.
• Strong copywriting skills across various platforms.
• Natural management abilities within the team and client interactions.
• Robust media contacts, particularly in the lifestyle and culture sectors.
• Strategic thinking application and the ability to provide counsel to clients.
• Problem-solving skills, acting as a 'first filter' on day-to-day activities.
