Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights to optimise financial performance.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, presenting findings to senior management.
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyse costs across different departments and projects, implementing cost-saving strategies where necessary.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant either ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organisation.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
