Salary £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Daventry, Northants
Monday to Friday – Days – 37.5 hours per week

Our Daventry based client are recruiting for a permanent Senior Accountant to join their growing firm of chartered accountants, providing an accountancy, tax compliance and advisory service.

Our client has a substantial and growing client base of sole traders, partnerships, OMB Ltd companies and larger businesses, directors and HNWI’s.

The role:

You will play a key role in providing a quality service to a varied portfolio of clients. Working in a team of both experienced and training accountants.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Overseeing workflow, budgeting jobs and planning work
• Assisting with training and development of junior members of staff
• Review of accounts for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships and Charities
• Review of personal tax returns
• Holding review meeting with clients

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a proven work history (post qualification) as an accountant within accountancy practice
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Experience using CCH and Xero desirable but not essential

Package:

A starting salary of £40,000 – £50,000, flexible working, an annual bonus, incentive schemes, regular pay reviews, career tracking and mapping to ensure progression, regular internal and external training, free on-site parking, regular social events in addition to holiday and pension contributions.
