Senior Accountant

Our client is a highly successful outsource services company who support financial services organisations. They are looking to add to their dynamic team and are seeking a Senior Accountant to support their outsourcing financial services clients. The ideal candidate will already have outsourcing experience and will be used to management a client portfolio and assisting more junior staff.

Our client offers a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 at home.

Your role as Senior Accountant:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of Forecasts
• Processing and payment of Client invoices
• Preparation of VAT and FSA Regulatory Returns
• The preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS where applicable
• Preparation of P11Ds
• Liaison with Clients
• Assisting with the training of team members as and when required

The person:

• ACCA or similar or QBE
• Experience of supporting/managing staff
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Strong sense of ownership and detailed oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work to a demanding schedule
• Well organised and a good planner
• Reliable and dependable
• Self-motivated
• A team player
