- Handle bookkeeping tasks, VAT returns, and prepare full sets of statutory year-end accounts and tax returns.
- Collaborate with Senior Accountants to ensure accurate review and submission of financial documents.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, charities, and partnerships.
- Provide occasional ad hoc accounting or tax-related support and directly engage with clients as needed.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Xero, QuickBooks, VT, and Freeagent.
- Experience in preparing VAT returns and statutory year-end accounts.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and liaison with regulatory authorities.
- Prior experience in an accounting role preferred.
