Senior Accountant

Equifind have partnered with a SaaSFintech business (Private Equity backed) to assist them with their search for a Senior Accountant to join their London team through growth based in the City by Liverpool Street. (One day a week in the office)

The firm is a leader in what they do, focused on cloud based software to automate and disrupt the sector they are in. The role will report into the Group FC, who in turn reports in to the CFO). They recently have been acquired by a PE firm and are seeking someone who wants to go on the growth journey with them!)

The total finance team is 10 strong. They have a great name in the market and low staff turnover, great culture, open and honest. Seeking someone who wants to be hands on, top to bottom role and is ambitious.

Key Duties Include:

• Financial reporting, month end, consolidations under IFRS
• Month and year end close, audit and production of financial statements
• All tax - Corporation tax, VAT, PAYE and R&D
• Budget, forecast, analysis and variance commentary
• Business partnering with 'C’ suite and MD’s of business lines providing financial commentary to support decision making
• The role is very hands on and the candidate can expect to get great management support from the team in developing their skills & proficiency.
• Projects and automation, the firm has a constant drive to automate and reduce manual work in favour of value add
• Role is 4 days per week in the office.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant
• SaaS/ Technology background
• IFRS
• UK Tax

Compensation:

• Base salary of £70,000-75,000
• Annual bonus, commensurate with company performance
• Employer pension contribution
• Cycle to work
