Senior Accountant

My client, a global consultancy firm is based in Covent Garden, is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their busy and fast-paced team.

This role would be best suited for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA finalist or newly qualified candidate.

This is a permanent and full-time role, with hybrid working and a highly competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and qualification level.

Are you a dedicated and experienced accountant seeking an exciting opportunity to join a global consultancy firm? My client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the flexibility of hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Conduct regular financial audits and risk assessments
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Newly qualified accountant or ACA/ACCA/CIMA finalist
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
