Senior Accountant

IPS Group are exclusively partnered with a Lloyd’s Insurance business who are recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to bolster their London based team. This will report into the CFO and we require an ambitious individual who would like to join a smaller yet thriving independent to form the next phase of their career.

Principal Responsibilities:
– Provide monthly reporting for five entities under IFRS and UK GAAP.
– Overview of Transactional Finance (AP, AR, Reconciliations and Payroll).
– Month-End (Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Intercompany Transactions).
– Responsibility for Cashflow Forecasting and Reporting.
– Production of the Monthly Management Accounts.
– Preparation of materials for Management/Leadership Board Packs.
– Act as the main point of contact for the Statutory Audit requirements.

Candidate Specification:
– Part Qualified (Actively Studying) or Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
– Knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP would be desirable.
– Experience with Sage Intacct (General Ledger/Accounting Platform) would be beneficial.
– Experience within Insurance or Financial Services.
