As Senior Accountant, you'll be delivering the following tasks: 

• Supervise day-to-day financial operations for designated client portfolios, ensuring precision and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and scrutinise financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls.
• Strategise, prepare, and review accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
• Engage directly with clients, delivering final accounts, addressing queries, and building trusted relationships.
• Forecast and manage budgets, supervise workflow, and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax computations, including tax returns and liabilities.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members to meet expectations, deadlines, and budgets.
• Champion customer service excellence and lead by example as a hands-on Senior Accountant.

Ideally, you'll bring the following:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, finalist or qualified by experience.
• Proven track record of client work within practice.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and cloud software.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ability.
• Ideally, some experience in audits (not essential).
• Self-motivated with the capacity to oversee workflow.
• Team player capable of fostering the best in others.
• Confident mentor for junior team members, employing a positive and constructive approach.
