Job Title: Senior Practice Accountant
Location: Bishop’s Stortford
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Term:  Permanent (office based)
Hours: Monday - Friday
 
RecruitAbility is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (full or part qualified), to join their busy and fast growing client. They are new to the area and therefore you would be at the forefront of this exciting role, making a significant impact on the business and it’s success. It is essential that you have practice experience.
 
The Role of Senior Practice Accountant:

• Managing a portfolio of clients for the Practice
• Providing excellent service to clients across Accounts, Tax and associated services
• You will be required to review accounts files, meet with clients and organise and complete files.
• You will be working on accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

To be considered for the role of Senior Practice Accountant:

• Fully qualified or partly qualified - ACCA, ACA, AAT or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role (accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting, audit and tax requirements.
• Compliance with regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering and data
• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge in servicing the
• Practice's clients
• Experience in preparing a full set of accounts and tax returns - single company
• accounts and group accounts, LLPs, charities
• Experience in preparing personal and entity tax returns.
• Audit and tax experience will be a significant advantage
• Team player with leadership experience with effective delegation and supervision skills 

The Package for Senior Practice Accountant:

• Salary:  £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)         
• Hours:  Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm
• Pension
• 20 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
• Free Parking
