Senior Financial Accountant

Role: Senior financial AccountantLocation: Welwyn Garden CityPermanentHybrid role: 3 days office, 2 days home (from January 2025 4 days office, 1 day home)Core Hours Working 8:30 - 17:00
To assist the Head of Accounting & Compliance in ensuring that any tasks associated withfinalising the Financial accounts has been performed accurately and within deadlines.

The Skills:The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with experience in using SAP(ERP system), MS Excel and excellent communication skills.A significant commitment to professional and personal development from day one, includinga comprehensive local, product knowledge and leadership development initiatives
- Responsible for maintaining IFRS16 Lease database and all associated tasks - Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset register and all associated tasks (incl. valuation of companyAssets)- Analysing P&L costs and balance sheet reconciliations- Accruals and prepayments
- Submitting data to external tax team in order to assist them in finalising Tax computations, calculation ofQIP's and quarterly tax calculations
- Review of company VAT returns- Produce final Statutory Accounts and assist with audit enquiries- Assist with the company's Internal Control System- All tasks associated with the day to day running of the Finance team and month end/quarter end/ year endclosing
