The Accounts Senior will:
- Prepare Limited Company Accounts for clients within the SME sector and have a good knowledge of accounts compliance.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior members of the team and review of their work.
- Prepare accounts for audit clients within the SME sector together with all associated administrative requirements.
- Be proficient in use of Cloud systems in all activities, providing training and support to clients both at their premises and remotely.
- Prepare working papers to assist the audit team.
- Assist the audit team with file compilation and collating information to support the audit and accounts process.
- Prepare consolidated accounts.
- Work closely with members of the audit team to ensure the best possible service is provided to clients.
Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes/experience:
- Relevant experience in the preparation of financial accounts.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to achieving the qualification) - although QBE will be considered.
- Experience of Cloud-based systems, eg Xero, Quickbooks, etc.
- Competent MS Office skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver with accuracy and focus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
