SalarySenior Accountant required. My client is a very well-established accountancy firm based in Great Yarmouth with offices all over the UK. Boasting nearly a century since they were established, my client has a wealth of experience and work with a wide range of clients across a number of different industries.
Due to recent growth, they are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience managing a portfolio of clients to join their welcoming and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level and work in an exceptional and reputable accountancy practice.
Senior Accountant Position Overview- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure all accounts are kept up to date and deadlines are met
- Attend network functions/events and represent the practice in a professional manner
- Assist/train the more junior staff with their professional development
- Maintain knowledge of tax/financial regulations by attending CPD courses
- Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients
- Maintain relationships with clients by communicating on a regularly in an effective manner
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be ACCA/ICAEW qualified/part-qualified.
Senior Accountant Position Requirements- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
- ACCA/ICAEW qualified/part-qualified (essential)
- Previous experience completing private company accounts and knowledge of disclosure (essential)
- Previous experience using IRIS, Xero and Quickbooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience)
