This business is one of the largest providers in their industry across the UK and internationally. You must have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and the ability to create and deliver innovative financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the integrity of the financial information
- Prepare monthly management accounts, review of sales report with commentary to the directors and senior managers
- Oversee the year end statutory accounts preparation for external audit
- Monthly balance sheet accounting & reconciliations across two sites
- Support the business with regards to new finance agreements, including management of finance, operating lease and liabilities, regular liaison with European Group Finance Team
- Continuous improvement around financial controls to ensure 100% compliance and zero audit issues
- Support the annual budgeting process.
- Maintain the PO process including setting up new customers and suppliers within SAP
- Assist, as required, the Financial Controller and FP&A Manager with reporting and projects
- Cashflow forecasting to Finance Director and Group Finance team across 2 sites
- Prepare regular SOX reports including monthly SAP master data changes, weekly SAP reconciliation
- Oversee all aspects of the UK and EU VAT reporting process.
- Responsible for the completion of other HM Revenue and Customs returns and payments as required.
- Responsible for the initial preparation of Corporation tax return prior to advisers review
- Responsible for completion and submission of government issued forms such as Office for National Statistics, Payment Practices reporting returns as required.
- Finance lead on payroll and benefits compliance legislation.
Skills/Qualifications
- Ideally ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified, or an accountant with comprehensive knowledge of management accounting with a very good understanding of statutory accounting
- Excellent Excel & analytical skills, SAP experience advantageous or experience using larger ERP system
- Strong communicator ability to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure at busy periods to ensure deadlines are achieved
Whats on Offer
- £50,000 to £55, 000 per annum, plus bonus
- 25 days plus bank holidays

- Must have own car may need to travel to other sites sporadically if required
- Pension 5% to 8% employer contribution
- Working hours are 37.5 / week. Typically 9am to 5.30pm with one hour for lunch, but flexible
