£35k-£40k, School Senior Finance Officer, BR1 - If you have experience working in a school finance department and are AAT or ACCA qualified (or working towards) then please read on.
This outstanding school are looking to recruit a School Senior Finance Officer to join their small and friendly business team. The School Senior Finance Officer will assist the Head Teacher and Business Manager in planning and managing the school’s financial resources. The School Senior Finance Officer will take ownership of the full spectrum of financial matters from management accounting to budgeting and bookkeeping.
School Senior Finance Officer role:

• Salary: £35k-£40k dependent on experience.
• Hours: 30-36 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks (41 weeks). There is room for discussion at interview about hours and working patterns.

School Senior Finance Officer requirements:

• AAT or ACCA qualified (or working towards)
• Competent in the use of FMS, Parent Pay, Access Budgets (or similar) & SIMS.
• Have the ability to carry out the whole range of finance tasks, from processing day to day transactions, reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable and producing monitoring reports, budget forecasting and analysis.
• Ability to produce monthly management and cash flow accounts and provide analysis for Head Teacher and Trustees.
• Behave in warm, yet professional manner towards colleagues, pupils, and visitors at all times, and contribute to the positive ethos of the school.
