Responsibilities:
As a member of the team, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of crucial tasks, including the preparation of statutory accounts, tax planning for both directors and businesses, client management and communication, year-end accounts, and VAT-related matters. Your expertise in these areas will contribute directly to the smooth functioning and financial health of the business, as well as ensuring the satisfaction and success of the clients you serve.
Required Attributes:
To excel in this position, it is essential to have exposure to accounting software such as Xero and Sage. You should possess a high level of organization and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills are also key, as you will be engaging with clients and colleagues regularly. Furthermore, a broad knowledge of multiple accounting systems will be advantageous in effectively navigating diverse client needs.
Please note that it is a requirement to be based within a one-hour commute of Hemel Hempstead, ensuring that you can easily access the office location and provide prompt support to the team.
Salary & Benefits:
In terms of compensation, the company offers a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000.
