Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid working)
Salary: £34,000 to £44,000 per annum

The Senior Administration Manager is a vital role responsible for management and administration of all internal processes including learning, teaching and compliance. You will find yourself leading education projects and make significant contributions to strategic discussions. This role requires someone with higher education experience who can use excellent judgement, initiative and skills to understand and develop long term improvements to service delivery and ways of working.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- To work closely with Heads of Education and the broader team to elevate and sustain the standard of education, aligning with multiple strategies, as well as the strategic plan of the wider institution.
- Independently execute tasks while collaborating with senior staff and Head of Education to devise and execute procedures supporting change. Utilise an open and inclusive leadership approach to secure commitment from all staff regarding implemented initiatives. This entails engaging with various personnel and potentially navigating significant changes, garnering commitment, and managing potentially challenging HR scenarios.
- Oversee administrative processes, ensuring their strength, adaptability, and efficient operation while liaising with colleagues at all levels.
- Conduct routine reviews of all processes and systems to uphold their efficiency, integration, relevance, and alignment with current quality assurance practices. Identify areas for enhancement as needed and participate in devising and executing action plans to address them.
- Ensure the support structure within each department meets its intended objectives by assessing and adjusting the distribution of responsibilities within teams. This ensures the delivery of an effective and efficient service. Additionally, maintain communication with departments to ensure the provision of high-quality service aligned with requirements.
- Collaborate with professional services and academic peers to facilitate change projects, meticulously planning and ensuring timely execution.
- Encourage and advocate for professional growth opportunities for the staff under your supervision, utilising the Professional Development Review process to cultivate and improve essential skill sets.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Extensive background in Senior Administration and/or management within the Higher Education sector.
- Proficient in analysing intricate data and aiding in the development of action plans, strategic initiatives, and quality assessments.
- Skilled in personnel management, task delegation, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to implement change initiatives or projects.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in IT, with substantial experience in utilising Microsoft Office, databases (particularly student record systems), and online learning tools.
- Excellent organisational skills
