We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Administrator for our reputable client based in Nottingham on a fixed term contract basis until the end of the Summer.
The main purpose of the role is to manage the administrative support across the business and ensure that all processes are followed.
To be considered for the Senior Administration role, you’ll require the following essentials:
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business administration or similar
- Current or recent administration experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Experience of managing & overseeing a small team
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Work well under pressure
Reporting to the Office Manager, you’ll be working in a busy environment therefore must be able to multitask and show strong communication and interpersonal skills. Within this role you will also be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks. Having experience with SIMS computer system would be advantageous for this role.
Within this position, you’ll be:
- Liaising with visitors face to face and assisting in reception duties
- Supervising & overseeing of the office staff and reception
- Answering all calls with a professional manner
- Handling incoming complaints and dealing with these accordingly
- Contributing to the planning, development and organisation of office systems/procedure
- Reviewing the statutory requirements and reviewing employees risk assessments and H&S policies are in place
- Acting in a professional manner at at all times
- Covering the Office Manager and Reception when sickness/holiday absence arises
- Ensuring internal databases are kept upto date with all the accurate & relevant information
- Monitoring & recording of absences
- Assisting in the planning of events such as Open Evenings
- Typing of letters and other documents
- Carrying out other ad hoc duties as required
Salary & Working Hours
- £21,000 – £24,100 pro rata
- Monday – Friday, 30 hours a week
