The Quality, Safety and Security Team functions are pivotal to ensuring we can have a high level of strategic oversight, recognition and understanding of clinical issues and priorities which will then enable the whole organisation to provide excellent care. Having an integrated, clinically focused quality, Safety and governance resource, processes and systems will enable effective interfaces between the team, operational staff and other central functions. The service ensures that there is an objective and supportive structure for all staff and can provide effective solutions and outcomes, putting the involvement of people who use our services at the centre of all we do.
To provide a comprehensive administration service for the Quality, Safety and Security Team, including, accurate and reliable message taking, from any source, internal and external telephone messages, email enquiries, using data to assist in the preparation of reports for the team, preparing formal correspondence, arranging meetings/events/appointments, preparing papers for meetings, taking minutes and ensuring that action logs are kept up to date with accurate information. Liaising with a range of individuals both from Sirona and external partners and at times, members of the public. The role will provide support to the Quality Directorate to coordinate/file/save/update documents used by the team. The post holder may provide reception/mail-handling services and/or meet and greet visitors, arranging appropriate hospitality. You may provide day to day supervision of others.
