In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing strategic initiatives that align with our corporate objectives and Human Resources and Organisational Development (HROD) Plan.
Your responsibilities will also include supporting the evolution of pay and grading structures through collaboration with our strategic partner to drive, develop, and implement reforms.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in HR and compensation, possessing qualifications such as NVQ Level 5 or equivalent demonstrable experience, along with CIPD membership or equivalent experience. They should also bring substantial expertise in people management and a proven track record of crafting and implementing strategic HR policies and procedures. Experience in navigating a unionised environment is essential, and they should demonstrate a deep understanding of pay and reward systems, models, and frameworks, as well as familiarity with the critical challenges that local governments face.
