Senior Agile Project Manager

A large Glasgow founded organisation are looking for a Senior Agile PM to join their team. Working on a large transformation programme, you will run successful development spring, managing the link between development teams and stakeholders.
You will lead and deliver on key strategic assignments providing project management activities and covering areas such as planning, governance, reporting, resourcing and budgeting.
You will lead, end-to-end, the delivery and deployment of packages of work that incrementally improve the businesses inhouse developed flagship product.
You will, as part of the project leadership group, face into the exec board and customers as part of the delivery process.
You will have exposure to several development streams that differ in size and timescale so the ability to juggle tasks simultaneously and complete these to strict deadlines is essential.
PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Agile Delivery Management
General IT project management responsibilities including end-to-end project planning and reporting, budgeting, risk, issue, change and dependency management.
Reporting, updating and communication with senior stakeholders to C-Suite level.
Shape, manage and deliver software design and development work-packages utilising agile/scrum techniques with on-shore and off-shore delivery teams.
Effective backlog management and Product Owner engagement
Manage multi-skilled teams including BA, Product Owners, System Design, Developers, Testers, and where relevant, infrastructure team members eg DBAs
Perform daily scrum meetings ensuring effective utilisation of team across product backlog
Regular communication of sprint progress/burn-down, ensuring escalation and resolution of 'blockers' in a timely and effective manner to Product Owners and Programme Managers
Facilitation of tasks across role & department boundaries ensuring avoidance of bottlenecks or down-time on critical tasks.
Quality Assurance
Develop, implement and review IT best practise methods and procedures related to software development and Agile methodologies.
Collaborate effectively with other IT teams, as well as the wider business stakeholders, to ensure adequate and appropriate performanc
Key Skills
To be successful in this role, you will be a certified Scrum Master & hold Prince2 or equivalent PM certification.
Experience in running large scale, complex, product development and delivery teams utilising Agile approaches.
Expert understanding of the Agile values and principles.
Significant experience working as a Scrum Master.
Delivery Management of teams of more than 20 people.
Experience in running end to end Release Management. Experience in 3rd party vendor management and governance.
Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management. .
Knowledge of other Agile tools/frameworks (Scrum, Kanban etc.) and experience in Microsoft Dynamic and/or Power Platform would also be desirable.
