SENIOR ANALYST
Are you a Senior Analyst/Data Scientist who is interested in working for a leader in the Debt recovery sector? This is a permanent opportunity based in Birmingham offering £50,000-£65,000.
They have operated for over 40 years supporting several local authorities and transport for London.
If you have a passion for supporting the building of a data driven organisation technically and culturally, this will be a great opportunity for you. Hybrid working is also on offer.
What does the role entail?
- You will support the insight and data team and the wider business in understanding the information they have
- You will provide the right measures that will lead to improved business performance.
- You will feed insights, analysis and recommendations into operational discussions, regular reporting, and post implementation reviews
- You will develop their modelling and machine learning approach
- You will provide regular reporting to enable data led measurement of commercial activity and initiatives.
What skills will you have?
The ideal candidate will meet these requirements:
- SQL or Python, Advanced Excel (ESSENTIAL)
- High numeric capability evidenced degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in developing and using statical models and machine learning in a business setting (ESSENTIAL)
- Experience data wrangling within Microsoft Azure and Alteryx
- Ability to manage multiple partners, prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines.
What is on offer?
A salary of £50,000 up to £65,000 is on offer working for an equal opportunities employer.
You will be able to work from home 2/3 days a week, and given further support and training to develop your career within IT.
The successful applicant would be required to undertake a DBS and CCJ check before an offer of employment is made.
