Senior Assistant Accountant

Venture recruitment are working with an Accountancy Practice based in Poole looking for an experience Accounts Assistant looking to take a step up into a role with significant development and progression opportunities and exposure to a variety of industries and businesses. This Senior Assistant Accountant role would entail working with VAT registered limited companies managing client portfolios on an advisory basis and reviewing accounts and VAT returns without any audit element. The role has hybrid working with 2/3 days per week in office required.
If you have practice experience or have worked in industry and have experience of accounts up to trial balance as well as VAT preparation, this role could be a great opportunity. Experience looking after multiple entities or using Xero would also be advantageous.  Progressive active studiers (ACA or ACCA) preferred but AAT level 4 qualified or qualified-by-experience candidates will also be considered.
