Salary: Grade 4, total salary range £34,480 - £43,494 (depending on skills and experience). Please note, the stated salary is inclusive of a technical supplement.
Working arrangements: Full-time, 40 hour a week. Standard working hours between 08.30 – 18.30, Monday to Saturday. Some overtime and anti-social working will be required to support projects.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Live Events Audio-Visual Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of audio-visual elements for various events. This position requires experienced and passionate professionals who can not only operate advanced AV equipment but also provide leadership to a team of technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment for live events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their AV requirements are met and exceeded.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with event organizers to understand complex technical requirements and propose optimal solutions.
- Conduct regular maintenance and quality checks on AV equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Provide on-the-spot technical support during events, ensuring seamless execution.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a senior audio-visual technician in the live events industry.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, lighting, video, and projection systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a technical team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Relevant certifications in audio-visual technology are highly desirable.
