Responsibilities:
- To assist the client manager with a portfolio of limited company clients
- Raise and enter invoices- purchase and sales ledger duties
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT Returns including liaising with clients with queries
- Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals and fixed assets
- Build strong lasting relationships with a variety of clients and provide advice and recommendations to the client manager
- Suggest any improvements for bookkeeping processes
Experience required:
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar position
- Experience working in an Accountancy practice
- Ability to manage your own time, clients and workload
- Experience using Xero, Quickbooks, or Sage
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
