HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Senior Business Controller will be a key partner for brand managers of his / her scope in order to help them monitoring the financial aspect of their business and suggest best practices.
He / She will ensure consistent follow up, will control financial business processes, will analyse performance, will prepare short- and medium-term business plans, will gather information and initiate operational improvements when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Budgeting, Planning & Reporting (40%):
- Lead and co-ordinate the preparation of the annual Budget and quarterly Latest Estimate processes with Local & HQ teams
- Ad hoc work on 3-year planning scenarios
- Active participation in budget meetings
- Upload budget figures in local management report systems (SAP/ANAPLAN)
Commercial Support and Analysis (40%):
- Preparation of monthly FP&A reporting including variance analysis of actuals vs budget and prior year, and strong focus on cost savings when necessary with Brand manager and Directors of different functions
- Assist brands with various ad hoc reports/analysis
- Prepare investment requests
- Offer support to Marketing, Retail and Wholesale teams on spending, tracking and landing
- Run weekly and monthly sales reports for Richemont UK focusing on key figures by distribution channel (Retail, Wholesale & Ecom), by product category and by brands/boutiques via Power BI
Other Tasks (20%):
- Create and maintain the CO objects (profit centre, cost centre, internal order) and the customizing tables in SAP PR1
- Maintain the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) matrix
- Review and prepare accounting adjustments during month end review including month end accruals and lease/rent review
- Monthly/quarterly input of management reporting and boutique reporting
- Identify opportunities to gain efficiency on processes via harmonisation, digitalisation and simplification
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Finance/Auditing background with strong emphasis on controlling
- Strong analytical skills, process oriented and able to analyse operational aspects of finance and business
- Computer skills – advanced knowledge of MS Office products (especially Excel) and proficient using SAP
- Fosters cross-functional collaboration and influences outcomes
- Exhibits advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, demonstrates high degree of autonomy, eadership & initiative
- Takes ownership of complex tasks and provides mentorship
