Ideally you will be an experienced Business Developer, used to working to and achieving / exceeding Sales Targets and with a good understanding of Share Plans.

Description
You will lead on targeted strategies in the Share Plans space, building opportunities around winning business from our client's competitors / supporting new Share Plans as they are launched within an organisation, proactively identifying and developing new services / ancillary products that enhance our client's offering.
- You will have your own sales targets, developing a pipeline to support the attainment of revenue objectives and be a trusted advisor to prospects on Share Plans
- Leading pitches, client meetings, conferences and other opportunities that support increasing our client's brand and market position
- Proactively building and developing relationships with key buyers across the Share Plans network, including working together with relevant advisers and partners who could influence our client's position in the market and drive opportunities
- Cross-selling products as part of a wider engagement process, ensuring that all parties are aware of the range of services on offer
- Working with the Sales Enablement team to create and update all collateral related to bids, presentations and client facing material to ensure it is fresh, client centric and keeps with our client's go to market strategy
- Being a central point of client contact for significant opportunities and projects that require enhanced oversight and project management, leading with opportunities at all points through the sales and onboarding lifecycle
- Developing thought leadership content and outbound activity, including even hosting, working with the Marketing team as required to support improvement in brand awareness and inbound leads with future issuers and advisers
- Working closely with the implementation and Relationship Management team to ensure a smooth handover process from Business Development to Relationship Management
Profile
If you have strong Share Plans knowledge, that's advantageous, as ultimately, you will become a Share Plans expert and trusted advisor to prospects.
- The drive and desire to succeed whilst keeping several plates spinning and sometimes creating something from nothing
- The motivation and hunger to go out and hunt for prospects, turning them into sales to enhance the business portfolio
- Demonstrable experience of winning business in competitive scenarios via RFP's and proactive outbound approaches
- A pro-active, self-motivated, resilient and can-do attitude with the ability to influence and persuade
- Enhanced knowledge of Share Plans and experience of working within the Employee Share Plans space would be highly advantageous, but you will need a willingness to learn and enhance your knowledge if you don't have it currently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, clients and customers
- Strong attention to detail, quick to learn and great organisational skills
- The drive and desire to succeed in order to reach company and personal targets
Job Offer
Our client is looking to pay c.£60k Base Salary with additional earning potential to be discussed at interview, alongside all other generous benefits. City of London location, hybrid working encouraged.
