We are seeking a Senior Business Relationship Consultant for our Government client based in Aldermaston, Reading. This role will be office based 2 days per week and the remainder remote.

The Senior Business Relationship Consultant role will be an initial 18 month contract, paying between £50 - £58 p/h Inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:

• Managing a variety of stakeholders from different levels and backgrounds.
• Handling and prioritising demands effectively.
• Possessing a background in IT with an understanding of technical terminology.
• Demonstrating senior-level experience and gravitas.
• Experience in managing relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical language into business terms.
• Proficient in IT without being a technical expert, translating technical concepts into general business language.
• Preferably experienced in the public sector, nuclear, or highly regulated environments.
• Accountable for developing and maintaining effective relationships with business partners. * Understanding business drivers and aligning IS services accordingly.
• Leading the IS function in the development and negotiation of annual commitments; thereafter acting as a proxy customer within the IS to stimulate the delivery of agreed initiatives.
• Contributing to business strategic planning and road mapping; influencing business partner strategy through awareness of IS services and new technology capabilities; influencing IS service development through awareness of business partner direction.
• Achieving excellence in communication and engagement.
• Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and being a great team player.
• Additional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements, with appointees listed within the Company Design Authorities and Technical Authorities, as held in the company management system.
• Creation and maintenance of roadmaps which describe the key business drivers, and the IS services that will be provided in response.
